Transvaginal Ultrasound

Afternoon Ladies,

Have recently been having fertility checks: bloods on day 3, bloods on day 23 and an ultrasound today.

During my pelvic ultrasound today (day 27 - 4 days before period is due), everything is looking fine. However, the lady said that my left ovary has only just or is about to ovulate. On DAY 27?!

Have been spending the past hour trying to google images of cycle day 27 normal ovary image but can’t seem to find anything!

There’s no sign of PCOS, everything looks well and good but isn’t day 27 way late for ovulation?!

Confused, just wanted to vent. Lol!!
Partner went for sperm analysis on Wednesday, so all of my results and his will be spoken about on the 7th when we see the fertility specialist again.

Didn’t know if anyone had any info about ultrasounds, late ovulation?
If so, fire away!!
