Still can't believe it.
I still can't believe it. How did this even happen? I was sure I would never get pregnant again. I was sure the IUI didn't work.
I also think that this pregnancy happened on the evening of 13 DPO, because I all of a sudden I got this crazy pain in my uterus, I felt like it was hurting all over and came with a huge migraine and nausea. All I could do is take some Tylenol and lay down on the couch trying to relax my uterus and close my eyes and pray asking God to bless the little eggie if it did get fertilized. Good think I went through 8 weeks of pelvic floor muscles physical therapy, so I knew how to "numb" my uterus. Then when my husband came in I asked him to help make the "eggie" warm :) The pain got more mild and kind of subsided until morning.
Then in the morning I still had more pain and tested with OPK since those were the only one showing some sort of progression in the test line...to my surprise it was pretty dark. My earlypregnancy.com tests were still negative, not even a hint of anything. Then one of the not early pregnancy tests started getting color, but only one, the rest of them were negative, that's when I decided to go out and get the real preggo tests and they were all positive. I was shocked and thankful for using OPKs to see my progression. Whoever wrote that OPK won't get positive before an early HPT was wrong in my case. I did the blood draw and my HCG was 35, which is low for 14 DPO but would make sense if my pregnancy just happened the night before, it would also be high enough for the early internet cheap tests, wouldn't you say so?
Anyways...now I'm 15 DPO and I know the pregnancy is growing because I'm getting hyper sensitive and pretty much becoming the "preggo monster". I know my hormones are out of control, so something is happening I have no doubt. I am going to another blood draw though since the nurse asked me to do because of the low HCG. She also asked to do some sort of thyroid test...anyone knows what for? Why would they ask to do this thyroid test a long with a second HCG test?
Also I've been taking more preggo tests, lines are getting darker! The OPK still look kind of the same and getting a little darker. I wonder if the OPK are starting to get the "sandwich affect" when there's too much of the hormone to test so the test is actually getting lighter...? Anyways...blood draw tomorrow, we shall see results a few hours after the test! I bet my HCG will be at least 70...probably like 100...but I'm just guessing based on how crazy I feel with these hormones inside me going out of control! :)
