At Least There Is This

My sister in law needed my help to watch her newborn last minute, so of course I said yes. :-) Little Amelia and I are spending the day together, just lounging and eating and cooing. Holding her makes me experience such mixed emotions. Babies and children are such an amazing thing to behold. I keep finding myself wondering if my husband and I will ever create a life to nurture and love in hopes to make this world a little bit brighter of a place. I try not to get carried away with thoughts like these, but I am only human. I'm at least thankful for these snuggles, of course. Being an aunt is super cool, too. :-)
