9 day period?

Last month I thought we were pregnant & had all the signs in that long TWW. But the day I took a test I started to bleed HEAVILY (26 days between those periods which isn't normal for me). It's now been 9 days and I'm wiping dark brown liquid, wearing just a liner because it's minimal amount. Have you experienced that? I'm desperate to count down and try again this month but this dang nonsense won't stop!
