Medications for PCOS. I think my Dr. hates me..

Hi ladies,

I'm wondering what medications you have been on for PCOS. I was literally just diagnosed last week. (Should have been years ago!)

My dr. (she's actually a nurse practicioner) is hell bent on starting me on birth control even though its not reccomended for people with migranes. I have also told her countless times that I am trying to get pregnant. I took spiro for acne a few months back and had some bad side effects. and she wants to try this too at a lower dose.

Why is she so hellbent on not trying metformin ir any other of the "ttc" options. I'm so confused.
