Question

How long should ovulation tests be positive?

I have been having positive ovulation tests since Monday. Today is day 3 and they are still positive. Is this normal? And yes, they are very positive. I know what they should look like.

You can have positive OPK's for more than 5 days straight. You usually ovulation the day after the very first positive opk. All the other test are just ones that are picking up your LH surge (beginning, middle and end).

I experienced the same when trying to get pregnant on my own . I would have positive tests all the way to ovulation. I couldn't really figure out when I ovulated until they came up negative slowly. The line faded slowly as the days past. Turns out my pcos is to blame. My Lh hormone is on overdrive and fsh is lower. So not only did I not know when the hell I was ovulating but my follicles weren't maturing bc of low fsh. Now i did ivf and I'm doing brat test tommorow
