Oh wait a second, you're talking post partum periods - you're almost certainly not ovulating at all especially if you're exclusively breastfeeding. Go look up the WHO page about breastfeeding and how it works as contraception by inhibiting ovulation. All the best.

Cathstardelux, thanks for the response. I do not exclusively BF since my son is now 18 months old. So, surely I'm ovulating, by now.

I guess I am wondering when to even anticipate my af. It's really frustrating, as I've been cramping for nearly a week, yet if my average cycle length is 40 days...that's still nearly 10 days away. Who knows.
