Misdiagnosed miscarriage? TMI WARNING!
Hi, I should be 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow. 2 weeks ago I went to the ER for spotting without pain. My HCG was only 778 and my ultrasounds showed emptiness, no sac or yolk. They told me threatened miscarriage. 1 week later, I was back in the ER for heavier bleeding and clots and tissue passing, still almost no pain. Again, the ultrasounds still show NOTHING, they even checked me for tubal pregnancy. My HCG level was now only 1348. They told me this time threatened abortion, a 90% chance I had miscarried. I bled and passed clots for 3.5 days, spotted for 2 days then nothing. I went to my OB for recheck yesterday at 7.5 weeks, OB still sees nothing on the ultrasound, but my pregnancy test was positive. He told me that I may still be pregnant to continue with pregnancy precautions and that he would see me next week.
Has anyone had this happen and stillbe pregnant?!?
