Ovulation test positive 3 days before period due??

So I'm pretty sure I ovulated 10 days ago. Had ovulation pains, egg white consistency cm, and what looked to be a positive ovulation test that day.
Now 3 days before my period is due, an extremely positive test! And the wonder pregnancy tests I have taken show negative.

This is my first month of birth control and I am on metformin for PCOS, but I have already had 2 children and had normal cycles on metformin.

Could I be pregnant?

Many women have an LH surge right before AF. Since an hpt only needs a hint of a line to show positive, it will be considered positive a much lower hcg levels than an opk. So if the hpt is negative, sadly your opk is probably registering LH and not hcg.
