Anyone using/used softcups?
My hubby and I gave been ttc #2 for be years. after our first round of clomid ended in a miscarriage we have become a bit discouraged. I am now on my 5th round of clomid and have read really good things about soft cups, however most of the stuff out there seems to be a bit out of date. I'm feeling very hopeful this round and just wanted to see if anyone else is using them or has success stories I love to hear them my goal in 2015 is to stay super positive!!!

I used soft cups for a couple of cycles but discontinued as I felt they were difficult to get in place right after bd. I much rather lay there for 15 minutes without worrying about whether that cup was properly in place. I then used them for my periods a few times and they worked for me for that purpose. I don't think they are necessary for conception; sperm meeting fertile mucus will start moving right away in the right direction and no further means of keeping it close to the cervix is needed. Give soft cups a try and see how they work for you. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

My husband and I used soft cups every single time we TTC, including each time we conceived, though two ended in a chemical pregnancy (not related to the softcups, obviously).
We did use softcups in my most recent cycle and I am currently 6 months pregnant. I can't say that they definitely helped as there are so many factors, but I do believe they did since they hold the sperm right on your cervix, giving even inferior sperm a fighting chance to make it to the egg.
I believe that anything is worth a try! TTC is so difficult and stressful as is. Having little helpers like that can make a huge difference!
Good luck! I'm rooting for you :)

i started using softcups with preseed as well last month no luck last month but its good for holding sperm where it needs to be so i will be continuing to use them they actually sell a one time use thing that resembles what a softcup does right now its called the stork and its about 80 dollars andsays its not reusable i would rather use the softcup because they do the same thing and their way cheaper but if u got the money get the stork and give it a try .. oh yea and softcup is trying to get fda approval for conception pourposes because of all the sucess stories they kept receiving from ppl who it worked for

Yeah, I saw the stork, but it basically looked like a complicated way of using the Softcup and more expensive so the husband and I opted to just use the softcups, and I already had them. Crossing my figures. I guess we'll find out in 2 weeks if they worked. But regardless, I do like the benefit of my dripping all day after bd! (Lol, sorry for tmi!)
