Attn cervix checkers, does this mean I'm out? ***warning TMI***

I try to check my cervix daily except when I think I'm ovulating (because I'm afraid to mess up the pH balance - silly, I know)
Ever since the time I "thought" I O'd my cervix has been pretty consistently firm and closed. I checked today thinking I'm 7dpo and it was firm and very much open. I'm kind of bummed because last month I had tons of symptoms but this month none and now this.
A couple weird things -1) I only have one ovary. I thought when that was the case, the other one tends to take over and produce an egg every month. 2) I conceived my DD successfully exactly 6 weeks after having the first ovary removed and have had a chemical and clockwork af since the surgery.
Do you think this means I'm out? Am I ovulating exactly 7 days late? Am I just a crazy wannabe pregnant lady?
