I use a calculator that tells you when your expected to ovulate after clomid and when to start testing you just enter the date you will start taking clomid... here's the link

I would say to do a base test on day 10 as Clomid can give false positives after taking the last pill. That way, if you get a negative test, you know any positive test after is a true LH surge and not the Clomid.

I took Clomid days 5-9 and my doctor told me to start OPKs on CD12 but I started on CD10 just in case. I got a positive on CD15. The average time people on Clomid ovulate is 5-10 days after the last pill. So for you that would be between CD14 and 19, but like socigirl said its best to start testing at least a few days before you expect to ovulate to get a baseline.
