Don't worry about it being a chemical, it is completely normal to get a bit of spotting in your first trimester, if your worried contact your gp, but I'm sure everything will be fine gl :)

Spotting is common....is it brown? The embryo is nuzzling in to your uterine lining, so it will cause some brownish/reddish spotting...and some cramping. Keep an eye on the spotting and if it gets worse, call your GYN. Keep taking hpts too....just to make sure the line is getting darker.

Relax! Just be happy! People have periods or spotting around the time of their period and still carry to term. The human body is weird. Take a prenatal call your dr and congratulations!

Thanks - I think you are absolutely right! It is kind of pink/red/brown .. not a lot either just when I go to the restroom. And I took a prenatal already. I will call my doctor tomorrow - after I take another test :)
