Question

TTC did it take you thins long!?

I am 27 years old and I feel like I am healthy maybe a tad over weight but not by much. I am active in my job and I eat pretty healthy! My boyfriend and I have been trying, well this is our 6 month now and I guess I will find out in a few weeks if any luck!? But anyways I read about it taking long TTC but does it really for those of you out there? What fertility aids did you take to help you?

Hello there
Well it's a guessing game as to how long it will take but on average they say 6 months to year for actively trying couples but of course it's different for everyone.
Myself well I have been very luck my first two I got pregnant first time with both of them with no aids to help but I was younger 21yrs my first & 25 yrs with my second,. However for my third it took me 8yrs and then fell pregnant again with my fourth first time trying when my third was 18months old and now we r trying again but no luck yet and who knows who long it will take.
With my third we tried very very hard for 5 months after reading up on things and I did lose weight to and on the 5th month of trying I used preseed and soft cups and bingo it seemed to work for me but I no fertility issues that docs could find just very bad luck I guess but after 8 yrs he was a miracle to us and sooo worth all the heartache .
If u are worried at all go checked and baby dust to u good luck :)

I'm the same age and we initially got pregnant within 3 months but lost that pregnancy. Since then it's been about a year with 6 months of actively trying. My doc said its perfectly normal and she told us to try for another year before getting to worried About it. We did have my dh do a sperm analysis just to make sure he was good to go too. Sometimes it just takes time. Don't lose hope!

It's been three years for me with three miscarriages in there. Don't worry if you've only been trying 6 months. Sometimes it just takes longer, and it doesn't mean there is a problem. If you try for another 6 months, I recommend seeing a doctor for some tests.

I got pregnant with my first at age 28 after five months of actively trying and I got pregnant with our second when I was 29 (a week shy of my 30th) after seven months of trying.... we used ovulation predictor kits, BBT, and preseed. I know that it seems like six months is forever but hang in there! (oh and I did get pregnant at 27 two months after stopping the pill but that ended in a miscarriage, we were not trying at that time). In my case it seems to take a little longer as I am aging...

One of my friends conceived only after not protecting ONCE during her honeymoon. lol. She wasn't planning on getting pregnant so fast but that one time changed everything. You never know! Just stay healthy and don't stress too much. It comes when you least expect it ;)
My DH and I just stopped using protection this month and will see how long it will take for us... Make sure your husband/boyfriend is healthy as well.
