Anyone just starting out with an RE?
Hello ladies!! I am 34 and my DH(33) and I began TTC this past March('12). Nothing was happening so we thought we would look into seeing a specialist. After many lab tests, it was determined that my ovarian reserve was acting older than it actually is. My husband gets tested on Monday so fxd that it comes back high. My main concern right now is that my Dr. wants to start me on Clomid and IUI treatments provided everything pans out Monday. My Dr. is really pushing for IVF if things are not what they should be on Monday,...but I am not sure that I can afford IVF.
Have any of you ladies had any related stories to share that maybe shed some positivity on this particular situation??

You have to do what you feel is right for you. I personally would give it a couple tries with IUI but wouldn't waste two much time. Typically if everything is right then the doctors make you do 3 cycles clomid then three cycles injectables then possibly IVF. So I would see how your body reacts to the clomid and en if it doesn't seem to do much I would jump to injectables and go from there. GL!
