I have my first OBGYN appt the 31st. What exactly should I expect? Will they do an ultrasound? I don't know ihow far along I am. (it could have been either my last or previous cycle!) Any advice?

They will likely check your weight, blood pressure, etc., have you give a urine sample, perhaps take blood, do a full pelvic exam and possibly an ultrasound. Generally, though, it seems they don't do first ultrasounds until at least 7 weeks and most often not until 10 weeks, but since you don't know how far along you are, who knows. Congrats!

Unless you are 6 weeks or more, you won't see much at an ultrasound, so they may not do that yet, but they will do the other things she listed below. At my first appointment, they drew blood and monitored my hcg levels over the next few weeks; he also did a pelvic exam. That was it. Then at 6 weeks 3 days they did the first ultrasound and we got to see the babies heartbeat.
