Quitting smoking

My husband quit smoking almost 2 weeks ago. I know it hasn't been that long yet. I'm super proud of him. How long does it take for sperm to increase? Will it improve by time we have our IUI this month? (Is usually around the 16th or 17th) All answers and comments are welcome. Thank You.

Thank you for your reply. That's what I had read too. I was hoping it was wrong! lol In my mind everyday that he's smoke free helps us. Thank you I have get a ultrasound tomorrow.
