Hi ladies!
Well, it's that time again! Lets kick things off the same as usual, with an update...
My name is Joy
I am 28, and dh is 29
we've been together almost 10yrs
Got married and bought a house together in 2009
From Canada
I'm currently a housewife, but hope to soon be a stay at home mom
I got pg back in the summer of 2010 then m/c'd at 8 weeks
We ttc for 8 cycles after the m/c, (10 months)
We have a nursery room all set up waiting for baby
I got a BFP on June 30th 2011
Had a missed m/c on Aug 18th 2011
Since then I have been rushed to the hospital 3 times for excessive bleeding (once via ambulance cause I passed out)
I have had 2 emergency D&C's, 2 Folley Ballooons, 3 blood transfusions of 2 bags each, & a Hysteroscopey. (Not to be confused with a "HysterECTAMY")
I Finally got back to TTC in Jan/Feb 2012 and on March 21st I got my BFP!
I am currently about 7 weeks pregnant!
My first ob/gyn apt was Wed April 4th 2012
He put me on progestrone and asked to see me in 2 weeks
My next apt is Thursday April 19th 2012
My due date is Dec 1st 2012!
This is truly an amazing group of ladies & I really hope our string of luck (& bfps) continues!! ladies!

Wow Lisa, I'm so sorry af arrived. I was surprised to see that post as I was so sure your test was positive! Well I'm sure it must be frusterating that you have to go to the fertility clinic, but at least there is a plan of attack coming! And I'm confident that both you and Krunchie will get your bfps soon!
AFM: well af is in full swing now and so is my usual af headache. At least its a sunny day today.

Hi ladies!!
Nicole - This will probably be the ONLY time you ever hear me say this, but..... YAY for AF!!!!! LoL I am so excited you finally get to ttc again!! Keeping my you dont have to wait too long before you see another bfp and that this time it's a super sticky little bean!! How many dpo did you make it to?
Elle - OH sweetie, I am so sorry the witch showed up! I was so sure your tests were positve. I swear I stared at your post, then at your name, back at the post, back at your name, I thought I must be confusing you with someone else! Hopefully your fertility specialist will have something more for you than just chatting... I would think they would get right down to business, I'm sure you'll chat for a bit, but then maybe they will schedule some other testing?
Katie - Hope you get some good info and they do more than just chat at your apt in a month!!
Elizabats - Yay for Dec 31st! Might just be a New Years baby! again! You sould joing the byob thread on the countdown my pregnancy site!
Jess - Well as much as the entire situation sucks I am glad your levels have gone back down so you can get back in to ttc right away and not have this whole horrible experience dragged out. Dont listen to your doc about waiting 2mos... my doc told me after my 1st m/c (naturally at 8 weeks) that the only reason doctors tell you to wait is so you can be sure about your timing. (Uness of course you are farther into your pregnancy obviously then they tell you to wait so your body can heal) They also say your extra fertile after a m/c, so hopefully you will get a quick bfp & a very sticky bean!
AFM - Not much to report, just waiting around for my next apt. Boring! Been kinda paranoid the last while... this is when things have gone south in the past so I am a little on edge. Been checking for any sign of bleeding or spotting, have had some cramping, but I am pretty sure they were constipation/gas/bm related nothing to do with baby. (At least I hope!) I am really hoping my doc can find the heartbeat at my 10 week apt... not holding my breath, but it would be such a relief to hear!

Joy, I was a little surprised myself too. I went to the Supermarket and popped to the loo and noticed when I wiped I had pink CM on the paper. By the time I'd got rouund the store I had to buy pads and go back to the toilet to use one. Currently eating Chocolate cursing AF cramps lol!
Aww try not to worry too much about your baby, so far you've had no signs anything's wrong Roll on heartbeat/scan time!
Krunchie - Urgh with you there lol I want action! I pretty much want them to make me a baby, put it in my womb and guarantee me it'll come out in 9 months healthy at this point! Good luck with your appointment
Nicole - Meh! I was thinking my tests were positive too, BOO to AF! I usually get a headache with AF too, stupid hormones!

Nicole and Elle - I'm sorry AF showed up. I swore I saw a line Elle.
AFM - I think AF is gone now, maybe just a small amount of spotting. For those of you who've had early m/c, did you start ttc right away or did you listen to your doctor and wait? I'm thinking we will try right away, but I keep reading things saying to wait at least one cycle. Ugh, that would mean the earliest I could possibly get pregnant again would be early June. It just seems too far away.

Hey ladies! Popping in to say hello and:
Some of the ladies from the VERY beginning of BYOB on CTP may remember that I got my BFP the day of my cousin's baby shower. She had been ttc for a long time. She started a non-profit organization to help families struggling with ttc.
I am posting this solely because I was so proud to see this. Today her non-profit sponsored a fair for ttc families and her, her dh, and ds were interviewed for tv.

Hello All! Sorry I've been kinda absent these past few days. I have lots going on with packing to go out of town, cleaning up the house and finishing up school work!
bahoward, did you ever cancel that appointment? It may be a good idea to go and see what they can say!
ellie, I am sorry AF showed up! I hope your bfp is not too far away!
gummy, I say just have a ntnp cycle! If it happens it happens? Take a break from the temping and opk's if you do those. That is if you can, I stoped temping and opk's this cycle and i still have the itch to check my temp or go buy some opk's!
Katie, at my first appt at the clinic we did do a lot of chatting. But after they took me into an exam room and drew blood for a bunch of tests and they did an ultrasound to check my ovaries. However it wasn't until they did the hsg test the next month that they established I had PCOS. My best advice, don't hesitate to ask any questions and if you want to be aggressive with your treatment, make sure it's known!
Anyone else, I am sorry if I missed you but good luck and I hope all is good with you!
AFM, I did my first follicle check in my town instead of traveling the hour to the clinic and I am kicking myself to deciding not to go there. The technician hardly even knew what she was supposed to be looking for! I had to explain her how the iui process worked and what they looked for last time! Well now I do know that I have 10-12 follicles on each of my ovaries that are 1cm. NOT what I wanted to hear that I had some healthy follicles that the clinic will want to trigger and do the iui on friday. At this point it looks like the clomid did nothing and this cycle seems to be a waste. I am so frustrated! Next cycle I am going to do my monitoring at the clinic even if I have to get up ad 4:30 and work a 9 hour shift after I am done! I would rather be tired and know someone who knew what they were doing told me I had no follicles then wonder if she just didn't know how to find them!! Grrr!!!
