Heightened sense of smell? 6DPO

Today I'm 6DPO and correct me if I'm wrong, but I [i]think[i] I'm having that 'heightened sense of smell' symptom.
I'm in a ranch style house right now, in the floor that is above the basement and the washer and dryer are in the basement and I could literally smell the scent of wet towels that were in the washing machine, and it's strong! I feel like I'm not even that close to the washer either!
It's not making me nauseous or anything, I can just smell it very distinctly. I never noticed that happening before when I washed towels...
I asked my bf if he could smell it, but he couldn't. He's getting over a cold right now though anyways, so that could be why too.
Does that sound like that symptom or just coincidence?
