Hey girls

I have been trying to catch up on here for a little bit now a lot has happened!!

Well here's the update good and bad:

My blood work came back all normal. Yay!

Had my first Baseline Ultrasound on Monday 9/16. Things look good had 2 follicles. A 10mm on the Left and 8.6mm on the right. Lining looked good. No cysts so no PCOS.

Here's where things go to shit:

My infertility nurse said the the follicles should grow by 2mm each day. So she wanted to recheck me in 3 days-
Recheck ultrasound on 9/19 the left follicle was only 8.3mm down from 10mm. The right follicle was only up to 9.3mm. Lining was still growing. There is no medical reason for this because my labs looked "great" she said. They don't know why this happens.

Nurse wanted to let me "coast" the rest of this cycle and not do anything else until AF arrives IN 3WEEKS!!! I was thinking well I must ovulate at some point because I do get AF she's just long. They don't want me to go over 35 days. We decided on 1 more ultrasound for Monday 9/23 to see what that Right follicle is doing. If it's not doing anything then we are going to do DH's repeat SA and wait for AF to show for me and then get the HSG in October. She said I will have to go on medication. BUT not until we get DH's issues straightened out which will mean an appt in Boston with a Male Infertility/Urologist. More tests for DH. If we start any medications it won't be until probably December or January. LONG road ahead. We have a very slim chance of conceiving without help I guess. She said "the only thing we have going for us is my age" So I might be in and out of here for a little while. Emotionally at 25 I am having a really hard time trying to figure out why this is happening to us when here is no family history of fertility problems. I am an emotional basket case.

Lacey, I'm so sorry to hear about everything that's going on. I can totally understand your emotions, and I agree that it's not fair that this might be an issue at 25!! It could be a long road ahead, like you say, but keep in mind all of the things that can go right in the meantime! You WILL get the bfp you deserve

Lacey: I know exactly how you feel. I am 26 and no fertility problems in my family. My DF and i have been trying for 18months now and always thought i ovulated. I based this on my positive OPK each month, cramps in my lower abdomen, tummy upset with the cramps and fairly regular periods, 33 days give or take a few days.
Turns out after 4 months of progesterone tests after 13 months of TTC, i dont actually ovulate. My GP reckons i never have done based on ive TTC in past relationships and after doing STI checks, abandoning birth control. This has been going on since i was 19/20..... I hope things get sorted. I am waiting on another fertility app as ive had an internal u/s and hsg done middle of august

I took a test tonight, and I think I see the tiniest faintest line. I don't want to get excited yet, as this happened to me once before and was nothing. I tried to upload a pic, but you couldn't really see the line on the computer. I can see it on the pic on my phone, but when I try to upload it on here I can't see it. I am going to retest in the morning and maybe it will be a little darker. HOPEFULLY. Hopefully it's not just a case of line eye.

hey ladies, sorry I'm typing this on my phone I won't be able to catch up with everyone until I get on my laptop. So went to the doctors yesterday and they just gave me a blood test and they called back and said that yes I'm pregnant! So I am going to book my first prenatal appointment maybe for when I am seven weeks. So 2 weeks from now. I'm so excited and nervous I hope it's healthy. My So thinks it's going to be a boy.... Me I would like a girl but either way I'm happy. Good luck everyone and congrats to the bfps!!
