If you buy these tests and the battery has died from the test being purchased a long time ago, you can still look underneath the display where the test reads the strip. This is progression from yesterday on top, 10dpo, to today, 11dpo, underneath.

First response digital does not show any second line unless positive.

Oh really? I didn't know that. Fortunately my subsequent dipstick tests were positive. Good to know though, I won't recommend this advice to others anymore.

Agree with other comment and could give false hope ..digi will always show a second line doesnt even need to be faint depending on concentration x

I wouldn't recommend this for a negative test though. They'll show a line as well.
