So I’ve saturated this with water to see if that line disappears, do Evaps wash away or is it positive

I agree. I've tested the water method just to see and my line didn't go away. It was definitely negative during the time frame. I've heard other women say it's not reliable as well.

If it is over 24 hrs and you saturated with water i would not count this test. I would retest with a fresh test and check within allotted time not using water and go by that.
