This was taken cd 16 is it a positive as today's cd 17 is much lighter.

mine almost never got darker then the control line. so it could be positive. No harm in Trying for it.

Your hcg levels can fluctuate a lot in the early days, plus concentration of urine also plays a role. Don't lose hope and fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy!
