I agree with Angela - people are either inexperienced or angry and woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I have gotten all of my first positives on 9dpo, as well. This looks like an early positive to me. I hope it gets darker tomorrow! Good luck!

People vote that way because it’s an automatic response for them on this site. If it’s not blaring a positive they do that, I guess it makes them feel good to knock others down. Looks positive to me but I would definitely follow up with another test to see. Looks too obvious to be an indent

That’s true. I think I am actually 9dpo- I missed a day in checking my LH. Both of my daughters I also got faint / visible positives on 9dpo. I was planning to wait till Thursday to test, but I was having other symptoms that I seem to get with pregnancy so took one early.

Also 8 dpo is still a little early. Statistically, most women implant around 9 dpo and it still takes a couple of days for hcg to be high enough for a test to pick it up. The next few days testing should prove whether or not this test is showing positive.

Thanks lovinlife, yes I always check the indent line before taking any pregnancy test. This line wasn’t there before- could it still be an evap line?

It is because of these tests lately. I’ve had the same problem and it was a bad batch. I looked at other tests in the box and they all had an indent prior to taking the test. Next time examine the test before and see if you can see anything wrong. That way you can catch it.

Can someone please help me understand- I don’t understand why people vote evaporated line if it’s indicated the picture was taken in the first 1-10 min, can a evaporated line show up within this time?

the line was pink in person. After an hour the line faded and looked grey/ almost not there. I have never had this happen before with my other pregnacies- granted this is much earlier 8-9DPO. I tested because of my sore boobs.
