Have u done ur research on them? Be careful taking them with PCOS, u can end up with more cysts. Also, if u have a cycle under 35 days, u may end up effing that up and making it longer. I love Iso's, never had any issues with them, but I've seen a few women ruin there cycles trying them.

I used them for over and only got my BFP when I added other drugs to the mix. They're a great boost for O, but there are other factors involved with getting a BFP, so hopefully all is well with ur lining and eggs/sperm. Which days/doses are u taking?

I had a laparoscopy 5 mo ago to remove stage 3 endo. I have been seeing a fs and had everything checked, dh sperm is good, my tubes are clear, unfortunately I had been getting a period every 2 weeks so my cycle was definitely out of whack, GP put me on Primolut-n for 10days to delay my period last cycle, so im basically just clutching at straws with the soy iso . Ive researched alot but as you say, they could do more harm then good so im only trying it this cycle only. If it doesn't bring a bfp I'll have to wait till our iui/ai/oi cycle

Thank you for your advice, its nice to hear from someone who has been through the ttc struggle.

1st Cycle using Soy Isoflavones
I take them with dinner @ night.
Only side effect are headaches & nausea. (Could be due to other causes though/also taking prenatal vitamin & vitamin D)

CD 2 160mg
CD 3 160mg
CD 4 160mg
CD 5 200mg - Today
CD 6 200mg

I missed the last 2 days because I started to back out, concerned I was making matters worse & thought it would mess up my cycle.

Just out of curiosity did an ovulation test on Christmas day (CD 11) & it was positive.

Does that mean I ovulated? I did one again today (2 days later) and thought it was a positive too?! could they be false positive??

For OPK's and SI, u wanna make sure u dont take ur first test until 3 days after ur last pill. If u only took it til CD4, and ur positive was CD11, then its legit! Its not a confirmation that u O'd, u would need blood work or temps for that, but it is a sign ur body did/will attempt to O. I would assume u O'd CD12 or 13 and go from there. If u took soy, even for a cpl days, u should have felt some type of cramping or something to letcha know that ur ovaries are working. Watch ur cm as well. SI helps with fertile cm, so when u see it change from fertile to non-fertile, thats a good way to kinda gauge when O may have happened. I would consider charting temps next cycle so u'll have a better idea of what's going on. Try to do all 5 days next time. I'm starting mine tomorrow...excited!

Thank you for your reply. I had my doubts about SI but after a few positive opk's (which has never happened before) im now a believer. Im also recording my symptoms but will def consider tempting next cycle. Good luck for you SI cycle. Let me know how you go
