CD46 - BFP then BFN- no period - please help?

The first day of my last period was 30th Dec 15 which makes me CD 46. I've never had a late period in my life, now I'm about 16 days late.

Had a few days very very light brown spotting around 2nd - 4th Feb - only on wiping, no liner needed. I then developed thrush for the first time in my life.

I had a BFP last Sunday 7th Feb, and BFN since then, BFN blood test on Thursday at the GP.

The GP has told me I must have had a false positive, and a coincidental late period! I feel like I'm going crazy...i have no idea what's going on or what to do next...any opinions welcome :(
