False positive???

Got a faint positive test his am at 11 dpi. Misread instructions and held in pee for 15 instead of 5 sec. Would this lead to a false positive?

It could. The reason they say to only hold it for 5 seconds, is because too much liquid can mess with the test strips. It could have caused colors to bleed, and come out all wrong. I'd say check again tomorrow morning! Also, I suggest peeing in a cup (like the disposable bathroom ones) so that if you think you got a bad strip you can test again without having to wait until the next day.
