High TSH level
just got my BFP and so went to the Dr for my blood work. I should be right on 4 weeks I had the blood taken (thursday night), Confirmed pregnancy (hcg = 400) but my TSH was high at 4.5. Doctor ordered extra tests, TSH again to be sure, and T3, T4. (blood drawn monday night) TSH now higher at 6, and T3,T4 normal. Dr started me on thyroxine. So I will be starting it at 50mcg per day tomorrow, and I will be 4 weeks, 4 days along.
Anyone have any similar experience with TSH? how did it go? miscarriages? birth defects? normal healthy babies?
