1st Clomid Cycle with PCOS

I am normally a silent participant on here, but sometimes you've gotta just get it out!

A few weeks ago I was officially diagnosed with what I had been suspecting for years - PCOS. It is very mild, I am blessed to have barely any physical symptoms (very mild acne).

We also had semen analysis done this month, and naturally my husband is perfect, in the words of my doctor "he couldn't possibly be more fertile"(making it 100% definite that its me, not him).

Today I finally went to see a fertility specialist after 9 months of trying to conceive with no success. She put me on 25mg of Clomid this cycle, due to a family history of hyper-stimulation - my mother had a quintuplet pregnancy on 25mg first cycle!

Im having very mixed emotions about this cycle. Fear of things not working, not wanting to be disappointed, glad that FINALLY I'm doing something proactive instead of just waiting it out.

But what I am struggling with the most is NOT HAVING SOMEONE TO TALK TO. Guys don't get it, and I have withdrawn from talking about it with most of my friends, including my sister, because its too painful when they ask about something that you care so much about, and its not happening!

So does anyone else feel like this or is it just me?

Any advice for a first time Clomid user?
