Pain 5-10 days post ovulation. Anyone else?

This month, about 6 DPO, I started having severe pelvic pain.

Hoping it was implantation, though the pain was unbelievable. Almost had to go to the ER. This did happen last month, though less intense. And I wasn't pregnant.

I caved and saw my gyno....who did an exam and didn't feel anything abnormal. Could be a cyst...but who knows.

She wants me to come in after my next period for an ultrasound of my ovaries.
Hopefully, I won't have another period for a while....because hopefully there will be a babe growing.

Anyone else go through this?

Yep. What ended up happening with me was I was ovulating twice in one cycle. It *is* apparently very possible =)
The pains were ovulation pains, but they were so intense because I had quite large follicles. Doctor told me that sometimes when you ovulate there can be some light bleeding within the pelvic cavity and even light bleeding can be very painful in sensitive individuals.

Good luck at your appointment! Hopefully you get some answers either way, but lots of baby dust =))
