Low Motility- Help

Hi,
My hubby & I have been TTC for 9 months so we went to our doctor. They did general blood tests for me and a semen analysis for him. My levels are fine but he has low motility- he's fertile but they are lazy.

What can we do before going to a specialist? He is starting a vitamin everyday and we are eating healthier but is there hope for this to happen naturally? Are there any natural supplaments or any tricks we can try? I pinpoint ovulation & tuck a pillow under my tush afterwards.

Please help. I'm confused & trying to not to freak out.

Thank you!

Motility is their ability to swim forward towards the egg, u cant correct the ones he already has, but u can attempt to fix the ones he has yet to make. For this, u want antioxidants. U wanna keep the sperm healthy and free from damage while theyre being made, once already made, not much can damage them. Look in to vitamin C, vitamin e, selenium, zinc, ubiquinol (coQ10 is cheaper but u need more), b-12 and l-arginine (read up on this one, its not good for ppl with low blood pressure, heart conditions, high blood pressure being treated with meds etc. Read thoroughly so u dont kill him).

He would need to take these, or some of them, daily for about 3 months to see the benefits. Like I said previously, these will only correct whats being produced now, not the ones he already has stored. Hope this helped somewhat. Good luck! =))

I too just found out that my husband has low motility (under 30%). I read absolutely everything on the internet and found a site that stated with diet, exercise and foregoing drinking he can add Vitamin E 400 IU and Vitamin L-Carnitine 2 grams (2000 mg) a day and within 3 mos studies show he should improve by about 59%.

I noticed this post was from July, I was wondering about your progress. Did the diets, and vitamins help?

My hubby has low motility too (or did at the last SA). Docs say it can change with every SA, so perhaps it is a passing problem.

But they also recommended we take Male Fertility supplement from Fertility Blend. It has many of the supplements recommended from a previous poster. We'll test his swimmers again next month to see how its been working out, he'll have been taking it for 2 months at that point.

My fiance had low count and low morbidity...We were told that there was no chance to conceive naturally...I am 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant...We used PreSeed and the ClearBlue Advance Digital Ovulation kit...On the week I hit my fertile period we only had sex starting on my peak day and then on...
