2nd round of clomid

So I am very new to message boards and still trying to pick up all the ttc lingo, but sounds like there might be other people going through similar things. My husband and I have been ttc since for 8 months. I have a history of ovarian cysts and after 6 months of trying, the Dr prescribed clomid. We are a little older, 35 and 37 and it would be our first. I didn't read the clomid side effects until now, but seems like I am experiencing many of them. I am most bothered by the hot flashes, nausea, and mood changes. Last month, it really seemed like pregnancy symptoms, but not. I know they told me we would do clomid for 6 months,but I am not really sure what's after that? I am trying to stay hopeful and not drive my husband crazy lol. Any experience, suggestions, hope with clomid?
