Earlier than usual ewcm

So I noticed egg white cervical mucous a few hours ago. Kinda early for me, it was cycle day 10. Well I've read mixed articles on timing of ewcm and ovulation. Some say it happens the day or two after you see it, some say you ovulate after it stops. Anyways my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years. I checked out fine, but he has the low count and slow ones that are there, so I am thinking they just aren't reaching my egg. We still try every month though, hoping that one strong soldier will make it's way! But anyways we decided to go ahead and have sex tonight since I know this is fertile fluid. I'm just wondering if it was too early because my app says ovulation days isn't until Sunday the 15th. Being that he has the low and slow numbers I've been told it's better to have sex every other day. So I guess no sex tonight then again on Thursday then again on Saturday and hope for the best.
