Yes, this story starts with a fortune cookie, "Do you believe? Endurance and persistence will be rewarded."
I do believe, I always have, even when it seemed impossible. Now after 7yrs of marriage to my DH we have the opportunity to have a child together. We knew the path would not be easy after we didn't get pregnant after a year. We tried 6 Clomid and TI cycles, with nothing to show for it, except one CP.
After years of settling into a routine, finding better jobs, getting decent insurance, we thought we'd try again. This time husband's sperm were not cut out for the task. So we chose a donor and went with IUI. The first IUI, was not timed well and failed. Our second IUI, was timed perfectly and 10 DPIUI I got my first positive that evening.
I'm now 13DPO and cautiously optimistic. Hoping for a sticky bean...or two!
