7W3D Ectopic pregnancy
To begin, I never felt much symptoms. I didn't believe I was pregnant. The only strange symptoms I had was spotting, which ranged in colors. From dark brown, light pink, beige, to even fresh blood. I started noticing that when I would pee, blood would be in it. Atleast half the time I peed anyway. I wasn't at my 8 week mark and my insurance card had just expired. I was planning on moving to Oregon in a few days anyway, so I told myself to wait, even though I knew something was wrong.
Fast forward, it's the day I'm supposed to go to the airport. I start cramping. It was bearable, but nothing I've felt before. The cramping caused me to be nauseated, dizzy, tired, and faint. I could barely see anything. There was like something in the way of my sight. Almost like "floaters" but it was more of a mandala looking floater. It was huge, and symmetrical. Anyway the cramping passes, and I still felt like crap but I needed to get to the airport.
I have a dizzy spell, which causes me to fall to the ground. But I get back up to the car anyway. My mission is to make it to the airport. Along the long drive, my stomach starts cramping again. Pot holes and speed bumps hurt. My vision was blurry and everything looked inverted (you know that filter). That's when I realized I needed to go to the hospital.
We go to the hospital, and they can't find my baby. Instead they find massive amounts of blood in my abdomen. They tell me that I'm having an ectopic pregnancy and they can't help me at their hospital. Long story short, I get transferred to another hospital close by.
Half of my blood supply is swimming in my abdomen. They do surgery on me but first need to get my heart rate up. I was literally half way gone. I needed tons of I.V. bags and an immediate blood transfusion. They did the surgery on me.
The worst part of it was that my bf left me on my death bed. He still went to Oregon without me and apparently is not ready for me yet. That was the worst part. Please if you experience anything like this, go to the hospital. I almost died. If you know something isn't right, go to the ER..
