all i want is one more!!

ok so here goes...
following my sons 1st birthday in 2009 my soon to be husband and i decided to try for a second child, we ttc for 2 months and on the second month i fell pregnant, on august the 10th when i was 10 weeks almost i started to spot after going to a and e i found out that the baby had died at 6 weeks, we were deverstated.. we tried again strat away and i fell within weeks of the miscarraige, only to start spotting a few days after my BFP and this time it had died arounf 5-6 weeks:( we then decided to wait 6 months befor trying again and within 3 months of trying i was again pregnant i was scanned at 7 weeks and all was well then again at 12 weeks and all was fine, while attending my 16 week midwife appointment she listened in for the heartbeat and couldnt find one so sent me for a scan trying to reassure me it was prob all fine.. the scan reveled that the baby had passed away at 14 weeks and i should have been almost 17 weeks when i delivered emma, again we were mortified and i was very depressed lost many friends and evebn family thru it all :( we got married in july 2010 just a few weeks after the miscarraige and started to try again on our honey moon we had every test available to us on the nhs and all were clear! even emmas post mortem was clear... what was going on? in march 2011 i was diagnosed with underactive thyroid and put on throxine docs thought this was the problem, during all this my periods were messed up and i randomly ested and found out that i was pregnant should have been around 9 weeks but scan revealed that it had got no further than implantation.. we tried for anothe 5 months or so and i fell pregnant for the 5th time in september.. i was scanned regulaly and went for one at 8 weeks and 3 days then again at 9 weeks and three days to find out the baby had died one day after last scan... this time we didnt start trying i acidently fell pregnant again in janurary this year and had a scan at 6 weeks ish and all was well.. i had plenty of symptoms and my morning sickness stopped around 10 and a half weeks but i carried on having other symptoms so held off asking for a scan at our 12 week scan we found out that the baby had died at the point where my sickness had gone .. so with now 6 miscarraiges under my belt i was ready to give up till one day i was looking into other tests that can be done and came accross nk cell tests which test the lining of your womb for to many nk cells which are immune cells that are thought to possibly attack the fathers dna in a fetus causing mc... so i researched this as much as possible and found a doctor who could do the tests cheaper than the private hospitals, i traveled down to coventry and had a biopsy which im awating the results of still, i was given a full explanation to why she thought i was miscarrying and finally given some hope back... im currently trying to conceive again and this is my first month of trying and as soon as i get that BFP i have to email the doc and she will send my specialist instructions of what to perscribe me and ill be on progesterone heparin and steroids for the nk cells if needed!!! watch this space!!!
