Going to focus on me.

I had an account here awhile ago, but I decided to start fresh. I am a 26 year old female with PCOS trying to conceive. The challenges I have faced in the past few years is something that many women on here have struggled with and some have succeeded in there quest to start a family and some are still struggling with similar situations keep the faith ladies god has a plan for all of us. I know that is easier to say than it is to believe, but I know one day my prayers will be answered. So I should start off with a little history about myself.
I started my periods very young in life (I was in the 4th grade, well I just started the 4th grade). They were pretty regular for me ranging for 28-35 days (what I would do for this cycle again) until I reached middle school. Where they became all over the place. I never really noticed any hormonal changes maybe beside some acne from hell that I took prescription medication to help control other than that I just chalked it up to normal growing up issues. I was never one to take BC so I think total I have maybe taken it for 2 and a half months. A few years ago (maybe 4) I started to notice some extra weight sneaking up on my usually medium built frame and some extra hairs popping up on my chiny chin chin as well as some darker colored skin patches where skin met skin. So I started trolling the internet in search of some answers. (I know we shouldn't do this because we assume the worst.) So I pretty much self diagnosed myself with PCOS. Fast forward a few years and many times of unprotected baby dancing not one single pregnancy. I finally took the dive and went to see my doctor about it. They did my annual lady exam and refereed me out to a specialist. I was formally diagnosed with PCOS and a thickening lining of the uterus. Wow double whammy! I decide to take a step back and try BC and focus on losing weight and getting healthy. Surprise I started the BC and I wouldn't stop bleeding. I double up on the BC as directed by my doctor and to no avail it did not stop. We switched to a more potent BC and still not even a slight change. After a month and a half of non stop bleeding and no end in sight I phoned the doc and asked for a D&C. I know kind of a huge thing to do, but I needed it to stop. I was so tired and couldn't leave the house with out a tampon and an adult diaper for fear I would bleed through everything. (which happened once or twice.) The surgery was a success as far as stopping the bleeding and never continued the BC. Until I didn't have a cycle for 6 months. I decided to try it again. I lasted a month until I had my period and decided to stop again do to the massive migraines it would give. Fast forward a year and 2 natural cycles later here I am trying to gain my sanity back. I feel like it is hopeless. I am currently on metformin alone and it has helped me lose some weight, but it makes me feel sick. I have lowered the dosage and am taking it 2 times a day. I guess I am here looking for support from women that are in the same situation as I am. My friends don't seem to get my sadness and my frustrations with ttc. As all of my friends are on their second child and or are currently expecting. I am not gonna sit here and lie and say I am not jealous in anyway because I am, but that doesn't make me upset with them and or not happy for them. I am the proud god parent to 2 little beautiful babies and I wouldn't have it any other way! SO keep the faith ladies and keep on keeping on and hopefully one day our prayers will be answered!
