Reply by GummyBear » May. 9, 2012 10:58am I just posted on the last thread, but I guess I will start again on this one. Intro: My name is Jessica. Both DH and I are 30. We've been TTC #1 since Sept 2010. Got pregnant Nov 2010, but lost our little girl at 18 weeks to a Neural Tube Defect. Had a D&C and had to wait 3 months to ttc again. Got pregnant July 2011, but lost another little girl to another NTD at 17 weeks. Had a D&C and was told to wait another 3 months before ttc again. Got pregnant April 2012, but lost that baby to an early miscarriage at 5 weeks, naturally. Doctor told us to wait at least 2 cycles, but we decided to try right away as we were tired of waiting. I am currently 7 or 8 dpo on my first cycle after the m/c. No symptoms yet, but still hopeful. Report |

Reply by quirkmomhopes » May. 9, 2012 10:59am Hi Im Jenn, Im 25 and so is DH. I have a 5 year old daughter from a previous pregnancy and found out on Saturday Im actually 18 weeks pregnant!!! so weird to say that! haha Joy: I have been asking all the questions too!!! I cant believe Im 18 weeks and didnt even think to test! I just assumed that I got AF on time each month so Im not pregnant. I have noticed that AF has been a bit lighter but I just figured cycles change! We have always said that we arent going to find out what the baby is... 9 months isnt that long to wait for the suprise!! haha. I have only been able to talk to the dr at the hospital and all he said was, some women continue to get it their whole pregnancy and I need to discuss with my dr (have an appointment tomorrow so Ill definately be asking ALOT of questions!!) As for pictures, she told me that they are the emergency ultrasounds in the hospital and arent equipped to give me a picture, so Ill have to wait for a real ultrasound :'( Ill definately be over to CMP!! Reply by Expecting2Expect » May. 9, 2012 11:29am Hi ladies! Jenn - That sucks that you didnt get any photos, but I am sure at 18 weeks they will probably be sending you for an u/s soon anyway! I am assuming tomorrow's dr visit will be a busy one, lots of tests to do and everything to catch up on! So exciting!! I can't wait to hear all about it! It was seriously such a good thing I was home alone when I read your reply about finding out you were preggo... I actually shrieked!! LoL! (And then continued to bounce around a do a little dance! LoL!) Super excited for you!! Jess - Can't wait for Sunday for you to test!! They say after a m/c you are extra fertile for a few months... hopefully it's true and you get your bfp this cycle & an extra sticky little bean! AFM - Nothing new since I posted like half an hour ago.... lol Staying home this afternoon with another sick little nephew. Fun, fun! xx Joy Report |

Reply by armywife52910 » May. 9, 2012 11:42am Hello! Im Amber and new to this website. I found this thread from the previous one, and couldn't stop reading! Im 27 and my DH is 29. We have been together for 7 years and married since May 2010. We spent our first 13 months married apart. He got back from Iraq in September and after recovering from an injury we have been TTC since last month. Last month I was 100% sure I was preggers. I had all kinds of crazy symptoms (now Im thinking that they were all in my head) Anyway the AF arrived and it was a torturous one at that. Now Im on month #2 of ttc and I am currently 9 dpo. This time the only thing different I notice is a little fatigue, restlessness at night, viivd dreams and the last two days I had crazy sharp stabbing pains around my left ovary. Now those are gone. Im still hoping for a Thank you Joy for sharing your news. Im especially excited for Jenn! That's crazy good news Report |

Reply by jacksonwest » May. 9, 2012 12:00pm I love this thread! Hi, I'm Lindsay (28) and DH (29) and we live in Texas with our 2 dogs, a Westie and a Miniature Schnauzer. We have been ttc casually since summer 2011 and aggressively since February 2012! Got pg in November but it was ectopic and I lost a tube so now determined with a capitol D to get pg again! But they say your chances don't go down too much, and I am having all the signs of ovulating so I'm staying positive! Today is CD 14 and I have had positive OPKs since Monday. We Still very wet today so I don't think I have ovulated yet. Another poster said I should count ovulation as the day my cm switches to dry and sticky, so that's what I'm waiting for. Plan to do some more Welcome to all the new posters! Report |

Reply by abc123 » May. 9, 2012 2:31pm Hi everyone! Wow, this is my 3rd thread with you all! I am 22, DH is 23, we've been married 3 years and 4 months! Went on the pill about 6 months before I got married and just went off shortly after Christmas. Was careful the first 2 months then started to track my timing in March. No luck yet, I believe I am 9 DPO, my breasts are very sore but AF is also expected Saturday. We barely, just barely (if not missed), made the window this month as he was out of town. I am starting to feel the usual pulling/cramping I feel 2-3 days before AF arrives, so I've determined I'm out this month, for sure. I live in Seattle with 2 dogs, work at Microsoft, would much rather be a stay at home mom and pup mom! Hoping for so many Jenn, I can't BELIEEEEEEEEEVE this!! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you. This put a big smile on my face as I read this today. Hoping the evil witch stays away, but I'm 100% certain she's coming on Saturday. Hoping to Anyone ever have regular AF cramps before experiencing a BFP? I know 'it's not over till the witch shows' but it's hard when everything feels the same, except the sore breasts. Reply by mommaforthe4thtime » May. 9, 2012 4:12pm abc and elle, from what I have read some men have more semen fluid and it doesn't always mean a higher sperm count. The only way to find out would be have his sperm analysed. All I can say is I don't have that problem and he makes sure a stay still. Report |

Reply by Treeshalee83 » May. 9, 2012 4:46pm Hello, I'm Tricia and I'm 28, DH is 27. We've been married for 2+1/2 years and recently bought our first home in December. I'm a Speech Pathologist and DH is an Air Traffic control specialist. I have multiple sclerosis so I've been taking medications for that for the past 10 years. While on the meds pregnancy is a NO-NO since it could damage or abort the fetus. We decided this was the year we'd TTC so I needed to go off the meds for 4-5 months minimum before we try. DH and I made the desicion to go off meds Feb 15 2012. So I'm a few months off and my target date is August to finally start TTC! We are so anxious and excited. I'm charting my BBT and CM but haven't done any other things since we don't know if we will have any issues with fertility yet. God I hope not! I'm scared to get sick before we even get a chance to try since I'm not taking any medicine right now. Report |

Reply by _snowwhite_ » May. 9, 2012 5:27pm Hi. My name is Jil. I'm 25. Dear fiancÃ?© is 28. We've been trying since November 2011. Df has a son from a previous relationship (8). In january I found out I was pregnant just hours after I started to miscarry. I don't temp or use opks. I'm gonna start temping next cycle. My first bfp was after df got a shot that increases sperm count. I know if he got this shot again we'd be successful. But df wants to stay natural. That being said I think I'm pregnant this cycle. I don't have any symptoms other than sore boobs but I'm positive. I had a test while in hospital at 6dpo. Negative but it was too soon. I'm going to hold off and wait for AF before I test. Af is either due tomorrow or the 16th. We'll see. If I conceived this cycle it would have been in a hospital bathroom. What a great story that is. Good luck to everyone!!! Report |

Reply by GummyBear » May. 9, 2012 5:32pm Trisha - I hope you don't have any symptoms from lack of medication and you and DH are able to get pg quickly. AFM - So this morning around 10:30 I started getting AF type cramps. Like the ones that make your abdomen feel heavy and bloated. The all of a sudden, about 30 mins later they were gone. Have not had any cramps since then. Not sure what this means because I still feel my body is adjustiing since the m/c, but I am 7-8 dpo so maybe it was implantation cramping??? Hopefully I'm not just getting my hopes up for nothing. Report |

Reply by armywife52910 » May. 9, 2012 6:34pm Hello again! I was feeling pretty good about my BFP chances this month until about a couple hours ago. I usually get mild AF type cramps a few days before I start and I just got some of those again! Is it possible to still be pregnant and have the pre- af cramps? Report |

Reply by krunchie29 » May. 9, 2012 6:52pm Gummy and Armywife - if i have learnt anything over my journey, its that there is little difference between PMS and preg symptoms!!! when i was preg, i didnt even realise having had what i thought was my period, i tested on a random whim after someone commented that i was glowing!! otherwise i had No symptoms what so ever! isnt life a bitch! why cant it be easy. this symptom means pms, this symptom means preg! see, its not hard!
