Question

Disappearing positive lines

I've had faint positives for a couple of days on Wondfo. Within the 5 minute window the line is there. Go back 10 minutes later and it's gone. WTF? Anyone else having this issue? At the 5 minute mark the line is dark enough to see and get a pic of. At the 15 minute mark, it's like it was never there at all.

that sounds like dye run, your photos look neg, sorry
this happens with some tests that one sees a line (not THE line) while the liquid goes across the field; the true lines remain when the test dries

Considering it hasn't touched another test, it's NOT a dye run. And these tests are 5 minutes then toss. Oh, and it's still a positive line, even after it's dried. smh

I believe what bradipina is talking about is how when the dye moves across the test sometimes it will "pool" a bit in a line shape near where the test line would be. As the dye finishes moving across the test that "line" will disperse and disappear. I've definitely seen this happen before and it's not a positive.

Like Bradipina said, a true positive will still be there once the test dries.
