Late period negative test

Hey, lmp was March 17th. Was due to ovulate around 31st March, next period was due April 14th hasn't come but tests are negative, have lotion like discharge which is odd around period time usually dry up, but have cramp on and off.
Anyone had negative hpt at this stage and we're pregnant
