What does an inconclusive blood test mean?

I have missed my period by two days. I have been getting faint positive on hpts so I got a blood test done and it was inconclusive? Is it a chemical pregnancy or just too early to get a good hcg count? Trying not to be sad...

Inconclusive means the levels are above 5 but below 20 (youre not considered pregnant before 20 really) They should do a repeat in a few days if its not a chemical your results will be higher if it is a chemical they will have gone down no way to know for sure yet to be honest. Best of luck
