some women get was is called implantation bleeding that comes right around the time of your period. Not all women get it but its usually a very light spotting that is brownish or pink in color and it lasts a couple days. This happens when the fertilized egg implants into the uterus. Only now can hcg start to build up into your system. So within a few days you should be able to take a hpt.

Let me know if you get your AF or a BFP ! I am 10dpo, and experienced some Bloody CM on my TP this morning, and nothing really since. I am hoping for a BFP soon !!

It can be implantation bleeding or if you had some stress recently, diet change or excessive exercise these can change your period quantity and duration. Hopefully you will end with bfp. Good luck!
