Fsh test on cycle day 34 8 days late for period
Hi all, my doctor is sending me for fsh and lh testing but isn't it supposed to be on day 3 of your cycle? I am 8 days for my period and keep getting negative tests. He has said to wait another week then test for pregnancy again but in the mean time he wants to take these bloods as I have previously had 2 low progesterone test results to rule out perimenopause which he says I am too young for at 36. I am just concerned that these results will be inaccurate taken on this day. Thank you

memberI get LH, estrogen, and FSH tested every medicated cycle ON CD 3. As far as I know CD 3 is the standard day to test your hormones in regards to fertility. One week after ovulation I do a progesterone test to check whether a good strong ovulation has taken place. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
