Does a bigger spike mean a stronger ovulation?

I don't think so. I am on monitored cycles as I am taking fertility meds and sometimes I get a huge spike, sometimes I don't. It doesn't seem to match up at all with how well I ovulated. That surprised me, but hey. I think it more has to do with what time of the day you actually ovulated and therefore when your temperature would start rising can differ, leading to a different sized peak.
