Question

When should I POAS?

So my cycles vary between 33-46 days and I usually don't ovulate or ovulate too late for implantation to occur But I started taking Metformin a month and a half ago and I ovulated on May 13th (cycle day 26) I have a dip in temperature 10dpo and a rise since then. I have been feeling off and on cramping that feels like menstruation cramps since 10dpo but no period and that NEVER happens to me (I usually only get the cramps the 1st or 2nd day of the cycle). My period is technically not late until saturday... can I test before or should I wait? I'm 15dpo today.

It's possible to get an accurate result now. So, if you want to test go ahead. I usually wait until AF is due or late to lessen the chance of a false neg. If you test today and get a BFN, you can always test again Saturday if AF doesn't show!

Yeah you can test. It doesn't matter about when your period is due. What is important is that you need to give yourself time to amass enough of the hormone to get a positive on a test. So 2 weeks from ovulation is the best time to test, no matter when your period is supposed to start. My cycles are usually 50+ days and I gota + on a pregnancy test 9 DPO where my period wouldn't be due for weeks yet.
