Question

Strange symptoms!!! Am I pregnant?

I am most fertile between the 21st and 25th, I conceived on the 19 and 21st, to my knowledge the sperm can live up to several days. I've noticed that I have some cramping, my expected period is in five days. My breasts are tender and I am extremely moody...am I pregnant or PMSing?

hey there
its very difficult to tell whether its PMS or pregnancy symptoms. unfortunately they mimic each other and the only real way to tell is with a missed AF or pregnancy test. I am also due for AF in 5 days... cycle buddy?

I really hope this site stays how it has been which is "no judgement". I wish when i was 16 i had a site to go to for questions cause i lived with my dad and couldmt ask things. I was so alone in things i didnt even know how to use a tampon till 19. Although i think 16 is very young to have a child i still respect the no abortion idea and owning up to responsibility. Keep your head held high "newmama" and ask away dont listen to negativity....but if your not preggo use protection and enjoy being young and in love before having a child cause once that happens your childhood is gone and life long responsibility kicks in haha and crying annnnnnd poopy diapers......

Hey newmomma,

Just wanted to add some positive thoughts - this site should be a place for support, not judgement. No one should be dismissed, no matter how old they are. It was very brave of you to admit your age. Now. Back to your original question: if it's five days until your period is due, you're probably about nine days past ovulation, which is the average day for an egg to implant into the uterus. Most symptoms only start a few days after implantation, so I would guess that your symptoms aren't due to pregnancy, but to normal cycle changes (though you could still be pregnant). How ever difficult it is, try not to worry until your period is at least 3 days late. Each month you only have a 20% chance of being pregnant, even if you have sex on the day before ovulation! Hope everything works out ok.

At this point you just have to wait and see. I have been pregnant several times and still can't really tell the difference between PMS and Pregnancy symptoms. Oh and P.S. you can conceive 2 times like that ....its very rare but I have an aunt who got pregnant a couple days apart with fraternal twins ;) it does happen. Not that you were saying that, but just wanted to let you know it does happen Google it:)since the other lady says it cant happen(yes, it can) but I see what you are saying you would've conceived the 19th or 21st /if you did :) the only way would be if any of those symptoms aren't your regular PMS symptoms. The things I noticed 1st in my pregnancies was acne breakout, fatigue, nausea, frequent need to pee, oily hair after just washing it, and missed period. I wish you all the luck in the world and if you need to ask me anything feel free to message me...I have 4 small kids and have lost babies too. I also know what it is to be raised in a less than ideal home.IM HERE 4YA
