Implantation? When to take HPT?

Hi Ladies,

I have a 35 day cycle, usually ovulate cycle day 20-21 Feb 3rd or 4th this month. Did the BD a lot before, during, and after ovulation lol. Starting at 6dpo (11 days before AF is due) I noticed some brown stuff on the toilet paper, I am now 9dpo and it is still happening but a little more today. I took a few HPT's and they are all negative :( Am I testing too early? AF is due Feb. 19th. (Southern Hemisphere) I have other pregnancy symptoms as well so it's driving me crazy. Baby dust to you all *.*.*.*
