Dating scan today
I had my dating scan today. I've been doppling for the HB since last weekend, and after hearing it behind a tonne of static and whitenoise, I was finally able to get it clear enough to record. That link is on my entry on cdmp. Anyways, hearing that helped ease my fears for this scan...I was worried about what they wouldn't find. The scan was abdominal, yeah, wtf?!! Surprisingly it was very clear. Besides the full bladder, it was more comfortable than a probe jabbing me in the cervix.
Baby (yup, just one!) measured 8w5d with a HB of 179. This moves my EDD to September 30th. Knowing my OB, he'll prob stick with the LMP due date and keep it at October 2nd. We'll see how that goes in a few weeks. Baby was wiggling all over the place, it was so cute to see. I posted a pic on my page, impressive how clear it is considering it was abdo. U can even see little arm and leg buds.
Anyways, I won't go on about it, doesn't seem fair to those still trying. I also won't update much, but ur more than welcome to read updates etc on cdmp. I'll still be floatin' around here, it's hard to leave once u build relationships with ppl.
Patiently waiting for the rest of u to join me.

Overthinker, a part of me hoped it was twins, its hard not to, but I wasn't even slightly upset or disappointed when it wasn't. They're def a lot of work, I'm extremely happy that there's at least one healthy little guy/girl in there...that was the goal, more than one is just a bonus!! =))
Scuba, omg that woman was insane! IN-SANE I tell u! Lol! I had to delete my test pic cuz she just sat and argued with everyone who was just trying to congratulate me. Her rationalization was absurd...she had a high beta and was pregnant with twins, so therefore I was either wrong on my O date or having quads. Her "proof" was herself, a forum full of equally crazy women, and betabase. It was like talking to a wall...then she just up n left. With how much she stalked the pic and argued her point, I highly doubt she was gone for good tho. Lotsa loons on this site lately. Lol!

I deleted the test cuz I couldn't delete her comments and didn't want more ppl jumping in, or reading her "reasoning" and taking it for fact. I hate when ppl spread inaccurate info. She claimed that a beta would confirm multiples, but really, where would the line be drawn on a beta between multiples, singleton and molar? U cant distinguish that with a number or a pee stick, u *need* an u/s.
