i ovulated in October, 2017 but in November 2017 I did not ovulate nor did I see my period. ?

Im also seeing a herbalist. He told me to give my period another week, but I have always been regular . I have done three pregancy test, My doctor says its to early to tell. But I thought I would have been able to rely on the test.
