Stopped Birth Control and TTC, but have EARLY period?

Hi! I stopped birth control last month and had a normal placebo week period on October 26th. I have been on it for 12 years, and had no idea what to expect. After that period ended, two weeks later, I have ANOTHER period. I know it's not implantation bleeding; it's too heavy and too bright red. It showed up 4 days ago, stopped then started again today after intercourse?! All of the experiences that I've read was that it takes longer to restart your period, and here I'm bleeding early. If my cycle was to be 28 days, I shouldn't have bled for another week. I cannot remember what my cycles were before BC. We really want to have a baby, and I have NO clue when I'll ovulate. I'm trying to be patient. :) Thanks in advance guys!
